Revelation 02 - Behind the scenes of the filming of Histoire Vraie, inside Victoire's head

Welcome to the life of Victoire, 31, a Parisian by adoption who likes to dance to disco music at night and read her horoscope every morning. Her guilty pleasure: a warm butter croissant. Her love situation: complicated... And Victoire has a date, don't you know?

8 hours of shooting on Christmas Eve, weeks of preparation, 6 protagonists and 24 hours of post-production, ... we reveal everything you won't see on our latest photo/video shoot !

Chapter 1 - Script

A few weeks before the shoot, I began brainstorming with Tom, who was working with me on communication. We imagine a few scenes from a woman's life that will highlight the jewels. Then we start looking for a model: it will be Fanny, whose elegance and naturalness perfectly enhance the Jacquot Paris pieces!

All that remains is to find the clothes and accessories that will dress her on the big day.

 

Chapter II - Scouting

The next step is to scout out the locations for the shoot: an apartment, a café, a Parisian bridge...

Each time, we have to visit the location and make sure that everything is suitable for the shoot. The D-day schedule takes shape...

 

Chapter III - Shooting

D-Day arrived at 9 a.m. and it was off to a marathon day of shooting at 4 different locations. Plenty of chouquettes helped us to keep up the pace, as did the friendly manager of the tea room we used as set n°2! Aurélie, our photographer, found time to shoot the scenes with Fanny as well as some backstage scenes.

Chapter IV - Post-production

As soon as filming is finished, Anthony begins the process of color-grading the video rushes, to rectify contrasts, lighting, etc. Then Tom and I get back to editing the 78 video scenes we shot.

While editing the scenes to be published on our networks, we realized that the “diary” effect we were aiming for would be even better achieved with a voice-over. So, for the first time in my life, I'm playing along!
