Revelation 01 - Claire Petit, jeweler with fairy fingers

In this article, I wanted to shine the spotlight on someone without whom our jewelry brand could not exist. We're talking about Claire, an exceptional jeweller with the fingers of a fairy.

I'd like to tell you how we met, and the path that led her to this passionate profession.

In a very old building in the 3rd arrondissement, on a rainy winter's evening, that's how my collaboration with Claire began, the jeweller who has been bringing Jacquot Paris pieces to life for 2 years now. That day, I came to see her for my first Sol pendant, and our relationship grew stronger with the utmost trust and total transparency.

She has since set up her own workshop, and works with me on the feasibility and adaptation of the design, as well as on the shaping of the pieces. Accustomed to seeing beautiful pieces come and go, it's the tsavorite garnets or tourmalines in bluish-green tones that speak to her the most.

Claire has been a jeweller for as long as she can remember, ever since a visit to a cutting workshop in a snow school. She says she's always loved “stones, shiny things”, and now spends most of her days at the workbench, working on the infinitely small.
What she loves most is the work of sculpting with wax, before the final shaping. For Claire, designing a piece of jewelry in 3D is no substitute for this stage, which brings volume to life and lets you feel it. And her daily reward is when she delivers the jewel to her customer, always “a moment of wonderment”.

Claire chose to work with Jacquot Paris because of the traditional yet modern French craftsmanship the brand represents. Her favorite piece is the Eclipse Hybride pendant for its modularity, set with a tsavorite garnet of course !
